Specifications
Development work
will normally be based on a written specification agreed in advance by Aircross
Ltd and the client.
Estimates/Quotations
Estimates are provided based on the understanding of an agreed
written specification. Minor deviations from a specification will be
accommodated as far as possible without further charge if notified in good time
but this cannot be guaranteed in all cases. Whilst all efforts will be made to
provide an accurate estimate, the final overall cost of the development may be
higher or lower than the estimate, depending on the man-hours actually expended.
The client should specify whether a fixed-price quotation is
preferred but should note that a contingency will be built in to a fixed-price
quotation in order to protect Aircross Ltd in the event of an incomplete
specification being delivered.
Invoicing
Aircross Ltd software development rates will vary depend on
the nature of the development and prevailing market rates. Aircross will only
invoice for work actually done, with no hidden extras. VAT will be applied to
all quoted prices at the prevailing rate. Invoice will be presented on acceptance of
agreed units of
work. Payment terms will be by agreement but are normally 14 days from receipt
of invoice.
On a large development we would typically expect a 25%
payment on approval of the first delivered component and staged
payments thereafter up to 90% of the total cost. The final 10% will
be payable on user acceptance of the final product.
Aircross Ltd keeps detailed timesheets of all work done on each
development and will be presented on request.
Support
Telephone support will be provided free of charge for a period
of 12 months following the system's implementation date. If any errors or
deviations from the original specification are identified, these items will be
corrected free of charge.
Any further enhancements outside the scope of the
specification or any on-site visits will be charged for at the man-hour rates
prevailing at the time.
